JUST IN: [Sagamu Riot] Ogun PDP Urges Redeployment Of State DSS Director

  • Ogun PDP has demanded the redeployment of the State DSS Director following the Sagamu violence.

  • The PDP alleged that Governor Dapo Abiodun has been harassing the candidates of the party with the DSS.

  • The Party further claimed that it was Governor Abiodun who incited the public against the banks.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that the Ogun State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has demanded that the State Director of the Department of State Services (DSS), Femi Aaron, be redeployed over Sagamu bank attacks.

According to the Party, Governor Dapo Abiodun has been using the DSS to intimidate their candidates in relation to the violence, which they allege he is responsible for.

The Party further alleged that instead of shifting blames, it was Governor Abiodun who incited the public against the banks.

Presenting the position of the party in a press release, the Ogun State capital, the Deputy Governorship Candidate of the Party, Adekunle Akinlade, said the Party is worried about the fairness of the DSS Director.

The party alleged that the DSS broke into the house of five candidates and supporters without former invitation or any warrant.
