JUST IN: Senate Confirms Dongban-Mensem As Court Of Appeal President

Nigeria upper legislative chamber, the senate, on Thursday confirmed Justice Monica Dongban-Mensem as the President of the Court of Appeal.

The development is sequel to the presentation and consideration of the screening report of the Senate Committee on Judiciary, Human Rights and Legal Matters.

Senator Micheal Opeyemi Bamidele (Ekiti Central) is the chairman of the Committee.

President Muhammadu Buhari had in a letter urged the Senate to approve the nomination of Justice Dongban-Mensem as the PCA.
