JUST IN: Suspected Ritualists Dump Lady’s Corpse Beside Church In Ondo

Suspected ritualists have dumped a lady’s corpse beside a Church in Ondo State.

 

EKOHOTBLOG reports that a lifeless body of a young lady was on Tuesday dumped on the road in Akure, the Ondo State capital by yet to be identified persons suspected to be ritualists.

 

The corpse of the lady, whose identity could not be ascertained, was found around Redeemed Church and CAC Oke-Temidire in the Oke-Ijebu area of the state capital.

 

Sources in Akure on Tuesday disclosed that the lifeless body was allegedly dumped by ritualists suspected to be internet fraudsters popularly known as ‘Yahoo Boys’.

 

The suspected ritualists were said to have driven off after dropping the dead body which was wrapped in white cloths.

 

Items such as cream, sponge, tablets, bra, and clothes packed inside a black nylon bag were also placed beside the corpse.

 

A telephone number written on a small sheet of paper with the name ‘Joy’ was also found inside the black nylon beside the lifeless body on Tuesday.

The Ondo State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Funmilayo Odunlami, when contacted, confirmed the incident, adding that investigations has commenced.

 

Odunlami further stated that the State Police Command was yet to suspect foul play in the matter as her body was not mutilated.
