EKO HOT BLOG reports that the Governor of Sokoto State, Aminu Tambuwal on Sunday held a closed-door meeting with ex-Nigerian President, Olusegun Obasanjo in Abeokuta, Ogun State.
Though the detail of the meeting was not disclosed, it is believed to be a topic of national interest.
According to Daily Post, they met at the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library (OOPL) Penthouse residence of the former leader.
A statement by spokesman Kehinde Akinyemi said Tambuwal arrived at about 1:30 pm with some of his key aides.
The governor and his host ended the parley at about 2:40 pm, where national issues were discussed.
Obasanjo had his lunch with his guest who later prayed at the mosque inside OOPL before leaving the premises.
