Tension As Gunmen Abduct Prominent Traditional Ruler

Gunmen have reportedly abducted a traditional ruler in Zamfara State.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that gunmen have abducted the District Head of Kwangwami under Moriki Emirate of Zurmi Local Government Area (LGA) of Zamfara State.

It was gathered that the traditional ruler was abducted by the terrorists alongside an unspecified number of people around 10:30 am on Monday.

According to POLITICS NIGERIA, many of the kidnapped locals were working on their farmlands when the lawbreakers came.

The outlaws have wreaked havoc across northwest Nigeria in the past two years, kidnapping thousands, killing hundreds, and making it unsafe to travel by road or farm in some areas.
