Tinubu Returns To Nigeria From Europe Ahead Of May 29 Inauguration
Eko Hot Blog reports that President-elect Bola Ahmed Tinubu has returned to the country after a “working visit”to Europe.
Tinubu, who returned Saturday afternoon, was received at the Abuja airport by Senate President Ahmad Lawan, Vice President-elect Kashim Shettima, Senate Presidency aspirant, Godswill Akpabio, and Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje, among others.

Tinubu’s media aide, Tunde Rahman had said his principal would meet with investors and finetune transition plans in Europe.
During his time outside the country, the president-elect and the candidate of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) in the February 25 presidential election, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, met for four hours in Paris, France, last Monday.
The meeting reportedly focused on Kwankwaso’s “potential involvement” in the incoming administration of Tinubu.
He is said to be planning to form a “government of national unity,” essentially giving certain positions to opposition parties.
