EKO HOT BLOG reports that Bola Tinubu, the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), returned to Nigeria on Friday night after three days in Saudi Arabia for Umrah (lesser hajj)
Umrah is a yearly tradition for the APC presidential candidate.
On Friday night, the presidential candidate for 2023 was spotted at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos State.
Some of Tinubu’s supporters greeted him at the Lagos airport.
The 70-year-old has a sizable following among political loyalists.
Members of Tinubu’s Support Group (TSG) had earlier picked up the APC’s presidential nomination form for him.
On Friday afternoon, a support group led by James Faleke, a member of the House of Representatives, picked up the form for Tinubu in Abuja.
Babachir Lawal, a former Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), said Tinubu is unconcerned about other presidential aspirants in the ruling party after securing the nomination form.
