President Bola Ahmed Tinubu sworn in as 16th President of Nigeria
Eko Hot Blog reports that President Bola Tinubu has taken the oath of office as the 16th president of Nigeria.
He took the oath around 10:35am on Monday morning at the Eagle Square, Abuja, in presence of his wife, Oluremi Tinubu, former President Muhammadu Buhari, and other officials.
“I, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, do solemnly swear to bear true allegiance to the Federal Republic of Nigeria. That I will discharge my duties with honesty and to the best of my abilities. That I will abide by the code of conduct contained in the fifth schedule of the 1999 constitution. So help me God,” he vowed.
