This is coming few months after world richest man and owner of Tesla, Elon Musk, took over the social messaging platform.

Elon Musk reportedly fired most of the employees at Twitter when he took over. Some of the affected ones were top executive members of the company who had worked with the former CEO, Jack Dorsey.

The news of the data breach was posted by the founder of cyber security awareness company Habitu8, Chad Loder.

He shared the news in a post on his Twitter handle on November 23 after which he had his account suspended.

In a report by foreign media, Daily Mail, ‪Loder stated that “the attack affects Twitter users in the European Union and the United States.”

Loder further added that the breached data is correct and occurred no earlier than 2021.‬

Following the suspension of Loder’s Twitter account, there have been speculations that the company is doing everything possible to conceal the data breach.
