JUST IN: Unknown Gunmen Kidnap Nigerian Commissioner’s Wife
- Unknown gunmen have kidnapped a Nigerian commissioner’s wife.
EKO HOT BLOG reports that unknown gunmen have abducted the wife of the Benue Commissioner for Lands and Survey, Mrs. Ann Unenge.
It was gathered that the wife of the commissioner was kidnapped by the gunmen around 6pm on Thursday in Makurdi, the Benue State capital.
The latest abduction, EKO HOT BLOG reports, is coming barely a week after two women were abducted in the state capital.
A relative of the commissioner disclosed that Mrs. Ann was kidnapped by the assailants shortly after she returned from Daudu town, where she went to visit her parents.
It was gathered that the unknown gunmen took away a new model Toyota Highlander belonging to the commissioner’s wife.

EKO HOT BLOG gathered that the unknown gunmen fired gunshots into the air at the B. Division Traffic junction to scare away passersby before taking away the commissioner’s wife to an unknown destination.
Meanwhile, the Benue State Police Public Relations Officer, Kate Sewuese Anene, when contacted, said she was not yet aware of the incident.
