#JusticeForUwa: Police Arrest Suspect Linked To The Rape Of UNIBEN Student

The Edo state police command have arrested a suspect linked to the rape and murder of Miss Vera Uwaila Omozuwa a UNIBEN Student.

Ekohotblog recalls that Vera Uwaila, 22-year-old 100-level student of the University of Benin, Edo State was raped and killed while reading in a Reedem Christian Church of God, RCCG, Benin city.

The spokesman of Edo police command, Chidi Nwabuzor confirmed the arrest while speaking to newsmen.

He said the suspect was arrested after the deceased was rushed to the hospital and the fingerprint on the fire extinguisher she was attacked with was examined.

Nwabuzor said the suspect was apprehended after the Area Commander of Ikpoba Hill mobilized his men to take action.

Meanwhile, the founder of Omega Fire Ministries, Apostle Johnson Suleman has pledged the sum of N1million to anyone with useful information on the rapists.

Speaking via his official Twitter handle, Suleiman released a phone number (+2348119313785) that can be dialled if anyone had reliable information regarding the men who raped and murdered Uwa in the church while she went to read.
