  1. Senator Uba Sani

Sani, 50 went into politics after the return of Democracy in Nigeria in 1999, and supported the People’s Democratic Party presidential candidate, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo.

After winning the presidential election, Sani was appointed Special Adviser on public affairs to the president. He later worked at the federal ministry of the FCT on some advisory roles and the Kaduna State Ministry of Housing and Works.

In 2011, Sani contested in the People’s Democratic Party primaries for the Kaduna Central Senatorial seat but was defeated by Alhaji Hamisu Abubakar, and in 2015, he was appointed by the Kaduna state governor Malam Nasir Ahmad el-Rufai as the Special Assistant political and intergovernmental affairs.

However, in 2019, Sani showed interest and contested the second time for the Kaduna Central senatorial seat under the ruling political party, All Progressives Congress , APC and was elected senator during the February 2019 Nigeria general elections. He is the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Banking and Other Financial Institutions.

  1. Senator Suleiman Abdul Kwari

Kwari, 58 began his Political Career in the early 90’s. Driven by the zeal to give more to his Community, He contested and won the 1991 Local Government Chairmanship Election to emerge as Pioneer Chairman of Sabon Gari Local Government Council.

Following the Successful Completion of his tenure, Kwari was appointed as Assistant General Manager (Administration) at the Nigeria Reinsurance Corporation, a position he held between 1995 and 2000.

In 2003, He became the Deputy Chief of Staff to Governor Ahmed Makarfi, he served in that capacity until May 2007. From 2010 to 2015, Kwari was a Financial and Administrative Consultant at Samsyleem Consult Limited, Abuja. In 2015, He was appointed as Kaduna State Commissioner for Finance by Governor Nasir El-rufai, a position he held until 2019.

Kwari was elected to represent Kaduna North Senatorial District during the February 2019 General Elections under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

  1. Rt. Hon. Aminu Shagali

Shagali, 40 was a Successful Businessman before joining Politics in 2010. He is the Member Sabon Gari State Constituency in the Kaduna State House of Assembly since 2011.

Between 2011 and 2015, he held several key positions in the House, Shagali was a Deputy Minority Leader and Chairman, House Committee on Science and Technology; Deputy Chairman, House Committee on Hajj and Islamic Affairs and Deputy Chairman, House Committee on Economic Planning.

On the 11th of April, 2015, He was re-elected to represent his Consistuency for the Second time. Again in March 2019, he won a re-election under the All Progressives Congress (APC) platform. The Third-term Lawmaker was unanimously elected as Speaker of the Kaduna State House of Assembly on the 12th of June, 2019 and served until 25th of February, 2020 when he resigned.
