Kaduna Senator Vows Justice For Victims Of Military Bombing
EKO HOT BLOG reports that the Senator representing Kaduna South senatorial district at the National Assembly, Sunday Marshall Katung, said he would work with other federal lawmakers from the state to ensure that the victims of the military misdirected bombing of a Kaduna community get justice.
The Nigerian Army had on Monday admitted that while its troops were in pursuit of terrorists at Tudun Biri village of Afaka Ward, Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna State, mistakenly bombed some villagers at a religious function.

In a statement to commiserate with the people of Kaduna State and the community involved, Senator Katung said they will ensure the survivors are well taken care of.
“This incident is quite regrettable and a temporary setback to the renewed onslaught against terrorists and bandits in that area, Kaduna State, and the nation at large,” he said.

In a letter of sympathy to Senator Lawal Adamu Usman (Kaduna Central) and his constituents, Hussaini said he received with shock, the tragic and unfortunate incident of the misdirected bombing of innocent villagers.
