All Nigerians Stranded In Sudan Are Now Back Home Safely –FG
Eyewitnesses who were present during the horrifying ordeal shared chilling accounts of the events that unfolded that fateful night.
At approximately 11:15 pm, a group of suspected terrorists descended upon the tranquil region, directing their nefarious intentions towards the Emir’s opulent residence with alarming precision.
Amidst the chaos and terror, they forcibly seized the Emir’s youngest wife, along with his nine children and grandchildren. Miraculously, the Emir’s wife managed to escape her captors, exhibiting remarkable bravery in overcoming the perils of captivity and returning safely to her home.
However, the attackers were far from finished. As they made their retreat, they callously abducted three additional individuals, including a woman, further spreading fear and anguish throughout the local population.
Tragically, in the course of their violent spree, they inflicted injuries upon Audu Kwakulu from Unguwan Pah and, heartbreakingly, ended the life of an innocent herdsman in Kuchimi village.
Adding to the anguish, the marauders specifically targeted the economic lifeline of the community, systematically looting seven shops in Janjala village before vanishing into the night. The shop owners now grapple not only with the loss of their properties but also face an uncertain future as they contemplate the daunting task of rebuilding their shattered businesses.
At the time of this report, the local law enforcement agencies had yet to issue an official statement regarding the incident. Consequently, concerns are mounting among residents who anxiously await a response from the authorities entrusted with safeguarding the safety and security of the region.
The brazen abduction of the Emir’s family members and the abhorrent violence unleashed upon the peaceful communities of Kaduna State serves as a stark reminder of the persistent threat posed by terrorism. It underscores the urgent need for concerted efforts from both the government and security agencies to protect the lives and properties of the citizens.
Those affected by this heinous act of terror continue to grapple with the emotional trauma and uncertainty that follows such atrocities. The entire nation stands united in solidarity with them, fervently hoping that the perpetrators will swiftly be apprehended and brought to justice.
