A Non-Governmental Organization, El- Vow Foundation in collaboration with the Embassy of the United State of America has called on the government of Kaduna state to extend security to the hinterlands with a view to tackling insurgency and kidnappings.
The call was made following the recent attacks by unknown gunmen at Gefe in kajuru local government area of Kaduna state that left about twenty death, many injured and others displaced.

Founder of the NGO Mrs Theresa Musa Biniyat who expressed regret while donating clothes and other valuables to the displaced victims at Ungwar Romi said they had lost their houses, loved ones and agricultural produce hence the need for government and corporate organizations to provide them with support
She expressed the commitment of the Foundation to continue to empower vulnerable youths, orphans and widows in the areas of education and vocational skills for them to become self-reliant and employers of labour.
In a keynote address, a community engagement officer in strengthening resilience for vulnerable youths in communities Mr Eric John stressed the need for Trauma engagement with the survivors who are mostly women, youths and children to curb animosity and future revenge.
The Alumni of International Visitors on Leadership program countering violent extremism with the United State Embassy emphasized that government should come to their aid especially in the area of humanitarian service toward regaining their trust to enable the vulnerable and displaced people settle back to their communities.
Some of the beneficiaries, Rebecca Dan Zaria, Reverend Dan Alkali and Simon Alkali who spoke to Radio Nigeria thanked the NGO and further called on well-meaning Nigerians to come to their aid to enable them to go back and continue with normal activities in their communities.
