Kamala Harris Formally Concedes Defeat, Congratulates Trump
Democratic candidate and current U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris has congratulated Donald Trump on his victory in the 2024 presidential election.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that each Former President Trump, running as the Republican candidate, won the election on Wednesday by surpassing the required 270 electoral college votes to reclaim the presidency as the 47th President of the United States.
According to BBC, Harris reached out to Trump in a call, highlighting the importance of a peaceful transition and urging him to govern as a leader for all Americans.
Harris is scheduled to address the nation at Howard University later today, where she is expected to discuss the election outcome and underscore democratic values.
World leaders, including Nigeria’s President Bola Tinubu, have also extended their congratulations to President-elect Trump, recognizing his return to office and expressing hopes for future collaboration.
Meanwhile, the Russian government has indicated it will not extend immediate congratulations to Trump. Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov stated that relations between the U.S. and Russia are at historic lows and described the U.S. as an “unfriendly” nation.
