Kano APC Offers Conditional Welcome to Kwankwaso Amid Defection Rumors

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kano State has declared its readiness to welcome Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, the 2023 presidential candidate of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), into its fold—but only under strict conditions.
During a press conference at the APC secretariat on Friday, state chairman Abdullahi Abbas confirmed the party’s awareness of growing speculation that Kwankwaso, leader of a faction of the NNPP, is planning to join the APC. Abbas stated that although the party is open to new members, including political heavyweights, it would not compromise its principles.
