Kano Students Fled After Seeing Fulani Outside Their School.

According to the reports gathered from sources in Dawakin Tofa, the students of Government Science College Dawakin Tofa, Dawakin Tofa Local Government Area, Kano State, fled their school in the night after some of the students sighted some Fulani herdsmen outside their school.

The school is not far away from Dawakin Tofa town. The incident occurred on Friday, 12 March 2021, and the students are currently living in Dawakin Tofa.

A source who spoke to a Freedom Radio Nigeria Kano correspondent has confirmed the incident. The source added that the students were seen running into the town.

“The students are currently living in some houses and at a primary school in the town”, the source added.

The security forces are currently monitoring the situation. They have surrounded the school and the primary school in which the students are currently living in.

Another source has added that the Fulani herdsmen are having a ceremony in a town near the school, and the students were afraid when they saw them.
