Eko hot blog reports that The Sa’adatu Rimi University of Education in Kano State is stepping up its game against exam malpractices by installing Close Circuit Television (CCTV) cameras in all examination centers. Vice Chancellor, Professor Yahaya Isa Bunkure, announced this move during the presentation of 90 computers to the institution’s Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) branch.

With an investment of N30 million, the university procured 90 Inter-connected Terabyte Capacity Computers as part of its Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Development Initiative. This initiative aims to enhance the university’s competitiveness and uphold academic integrity.
Prof. Bunkure highlighted the importance of this investment, stating, “We are upgrading almost everything to fully tally with the University system that would make us one of the best..”
ASUU branch chairman, Shittu Sani Gargai, expressed appreciation for the new equipment, including Smart Boards and Projectors.
