Kayokayo Novelty Match: Embrace Peaceful Coexistence, Segun Agbaje Urges Epe Youths
Eko Hot Blog reports that Hon. Segun Muhammad Agbaje, a former Chairman of Epe Local Government, has urged young people in Epe to embrace the spirit of sportsmanship and peaceful coexistence.
He gave the charge on Monday at the 2023 Epe Kayokayo festival novelty match held at Senator Adetokunbo Abiru stadium, LASU Epe road, Epe.

The match was part of many events lined up for the 2023 Epe Kayokayo festival.
The match, which took place between Epe Ogunmodede Club and Epe Club, finished 4-1 in favour of the former.
Goals from Kekere-ekun Lawal, Anifowoshe Olamilekan, Lateef Ganiu, and Lawal Lukman, were enough for Epe Ogunmodede Club to get the better of their opponents who could only get a consolation goal through their captain, Azeez Malik.
Addressing the players and other young people in Epe, Hon. Agbaje, the Chairman of the occasion, noted that the match was an avenue to unify Epe community dwellers as well as promote a peaceful community.
“This match can be called a ‘Unity Match’ because it has brought everyone on board, to work together to see the beauty and love of team spirit, and sportsmanship,” the former Epe LG chairman said.
He, therefore, urged the youths to embrace the spirits of togetherness, unity, and sportsmanship.
According to the former Epe LG chairman, the novelty match should show players and spectators the kind of love, harmony, and togetherness that thrive among footballers all over the world.
