Kazim Adeoti Opens Up on Marriage to Mercy Aigbe Amid Public Criticism
Nollywood movie marketer Kazim Adeoti has addressed the public criticism surrounding his marriage to actress Mercy Aigbe.
In January 2022, Mercy revealed Kazim as her husband, leading his first wife, Funsho Adeoti, to accuse Mercy of “husband-snatching.” Kazim has since defended his choice to take a second wife, attributing it to his Muslim faith.
During an interview at the National Film and Video Censors Board’s (NFVCB) 4th Peace Anyiam-Osigwe (PAO) Nigeria Digital Content Regulation Conference in Lagos, Kazim stated that as a public figure, he cannot control the opinions or narratives people form about his personal life.
