Governor of Kebbi state,Abubakar Atiku Bagudu has approved payment of N30,000 minimum wage for workers in the state.

President Muhammadu Buhari on April 18, 2019, plunge the labour community into a joyous mood by signing the new minimum wage of N30,000 into law.

Kebbi state becomes the first in the country to implement the new minimum wage, with uncertainty over the payment of the approved minimum wage by some states.

According to the statement released by Kebbi state government, the payment of N30,000 minimum wage will be effective from September 2019.
