Kidnapped Oyo Local Government Chairman Regains Freedom

• The caretaker chairman of Iganna Local Council Development Area of Oyo State, Mr Olayiwola Adeleke regains freedom.
• The LG chairman was kidnapped alongside his driver on October 25
• Adeleke was released on October 30, after spend 5days in the abductors custody.

The caretaker chairman of Iganna Local Council Development Area of Oyo State, Mr Olayiwola Adeleke has regained freedom after spending days in kidnappers’ den.

Ekohotblog.com confirmed earlier that the LG chairman was kidnapped alongside his driver on October 25, 2020 on his way to Ibadan for a meeting with Oyo state Governor, Seyi Makinde.

Confirming the report, Oyo police spokesperson,  Mr Olugbenga Fadeyi said the LG boss has been released.

He was released alongside his driver Yesterday, Friday October 30
