Kidnapped Taraba Lawmaker Regains Freedom
A member of the Taraba State House of Assembly, representing Nguroje State Constituency, Bashir Mohammed, who was kidnapped by gunmen on Wednesday, has regained freedom.
Ekohotblog gathered that Mohammed was released by his abductors at about 10.30 pm on Friday, December 11.
According to the source it was not clear whether or how much was paid as ransom to the kidnappers before the release of the lawmaker.
Mohammed was said to have been rushed to an undisclosed hospital for medical attention immediately after he was reunited with his family.

Police Public Relations Officer in the state, DSP David Misal, confirmed the development and said investigation was on to track down the kidnappers.
