Kidnappers Abduct Popular Businesswoman In Epe

Residents of Michael Otedola Estate, Odoragunshin, Eredo LCDA Epe, were on Monday thrown into a state of frenzy following the abduction of popular businesswoman, Bisola Kazeem.
As gathered, the businesswoman was abducted on her way home from work as she was trying to access the estate gate by gun-wielding abductors who quickly intercepted her before she could wriggle free from the sudden ambush.
According to eyewitness accounts, Bisola was returning home with her husband when the tragic incident occured. Upon discovery that the men in black approaching her vehicle were criminal elements, she had made a last inch attempt to zoom towards safety but was unfortunately outflanked by the kidnappers, who took her but were unsuccessful in abducting her husband who had managed to escape and call for help.
The distraught husband, who confirmed the incident to Ekohotblog, appealed for help from the Lagos State Government and well-meaning Nigerians.
“Yes, it is true, I’m appealing to the Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, and other well-meaning Nigerians to help me secure the release of my wife,” he pleaded.
As at the time of filing this report, her husband could not give full details of what transpired. According to him, the kidnappers are yet to reach out to table the conditions to be met for her release.
Recall that EkoHotBlog reported earlier how a former Michael Otedola College of Education lecturer was abducted a few clicks from his residence. He was later released at the payment of the ransom demanded by the kidnappers.

Given the givens of these recent developments, residents of Epe believe it is hightime Government provided the necessary security surveillance apparatus in communities along the Epe-Ijebu-Ode expressway axis as the proximity of the kidnap incidents within the space of a few months in the axis is becoming worrisome.
