Kidnappers Demand N3m Ransom for Abducted Federal University Student in Lagos
A 300-level student of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, Ogun State, identified as Christiana Idowu, was abducted by suspected kidnappers along the Ikorodu-Yaba Road last week.
A family source, speaking anonymously to reporters on Monday, revealed that the kidnappers have demanded a ransom of N3 million for her release.
EKO HOT BLOG reports that Christiana was reportedly on her way from her home in the Itaoluwo area of Ikorodu to the University of Lagos in Yaba for her industrial training when she was kidnapped.

After losing contact with her, the abductors made contact with the family through her phone and initially demanded N3 million.
Despite appeals, the ransom amount was eventually reduced to N350,000, which the family paid.
However, the kidnappers have not released Christiana, and they are now requesting additional details, including the bank statement of the account used for the transfer.
