Kidnappers Kill Oyo Farmer After Collecting N2m Ransom From His Family

Suspected kidnappers have killed an Oyo farmer after collecting N2 million ransom from his family members.

The deceased identified as Wole Agboola was abducted by six armed men dressed in military uniform camouflage. The deceased was Kidnapped in his piggery/fish farm located at Nagbede village via Aba-odo in Oyo on Monday, December 28, 2020.

The dead body of the deceased was recovered from the bush in Aba-Odo on Monday, January 11. The bush is located a few miles from where he was Kidnapped,  EKO HOT BLOG gathered.

According to reports, the decomposing body of the deceased was recovered 10 days after he was Kidnapped.

Wole’s death was confirmed by his brother, Olakunle Agboola. Mr Agboola who is a journalist disclosed that the kidnappers demanded for N2 million which was paid.

Agboola expressed shock over the death of his brother. According to Agboola, the entire family of the deceased were expecting that he will be released after they managed to pay the ransom to the kidnappers, but they were all left in tears when they discovered the decomposing body of Wole inside a bush.

Friends and well-wishers have taken to social media to mourn the deceased.
