  1. Be extremely cautious of showing off your cash in public or previous belonging, that could indicate you are wealthy.

Maintain an unostentatious lifestyle and stay avoid wearing too fancy attire (except necessary) to avoid being a target for kidnappers. If you need to make a call in public and it involves business or large sums of money, do so softly, or find a private spot.

  2. Don’t post your home and office addresses on social media. Avoid posting pictures, showing your home address or the exact location you work.

Also, don’t post pictures of your kids in their school uniforms on the internet. School uniforms usually have an emblem with the school’s name and address. This could provide information to kidnappers about their children’s whereabouts.

  1. Don’t stick to a particular route. Any kidnapper following your movements will be unable to apprehend you as a result of this. Explore different routes to regular locations, it may sound weird, but it could save you.
  2. Kidnappers are ordinary people like us, thus their features don’t reveal it. Before hiring someone to work as a housemaid, you should conduct thorough background checks. You must know where the maid’s family resides, and they must be represented by a surety.
