Eko Hot Blog reports that a couple of weeks ago, Fagbemi Abayomi from Ilupeju-Ekiti and Ojo Musa from Kogi State, both based in Aisegba Ekiti, were kidnapped at gunpoint between Ilu-Omoba and Aisegba Ekiti.
The victims’ families were contacted by the kidnappers and demanded a ransom of 15 million naira, which was later reduced to 10 million naira. After much begging, the families agreed to pay 1 million naira for Fagbemi and 2 million naira for Ojo.
The ransom was paid, but the victims have not been released. The families are now in a state of tension and fear, as they do not know where their loved ones are or if they are safe.
The police have been notified of the kidnapping, but they have not been able to locate the victims or the kidnappers.
