Killers Of My Senior Security Assistant, will Not Go Unpunished, Says Obiano
Anambra State Governor, Mr Willie Obiano, has promised to aprehend the killer of his 43-year-old Senior Special Assistant on Security, Azubuike Ekwegbalu. The governor said killers of Azubuike will be punished appropriately and judged under the law when found.
The Commissioner for Information and Public Enlightenment, Mr C-Don Adinuba, obtained released statement on Monday in Awka, the state capital. Obiano said the killers would be dealt with once arrested.
The statement partly reads“Mr Ekwegbalu was a thorough, quiet, unassuming, energetic and dedicated security official whose forte was intelligence gathering.
“He had in the last few months devoted his infectious energy and acute professional intelligence to monitoring cults in various parts of the state following an increase in the menace of young cult members in educational institutions and elsewhere. The results have been outstanding.
