SAD! Kogi Monarch Succumbs To Death After 12 Days Of Brutal Torture In Kidnappers’ Dungeon

  • Kogi monarch has tragically passed away after enduring 12 days of torture in kidnappers’ captivity.

  • The monarch was whisked away on Easter Monday.

  • According to a family source, the monarch died last Thursday as a result of torture from his abductors.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that David Obadofin, the traditional ruler of Aghara community in, Kabba-Bunu Local Government Area (LGA) of Kogi State, has reportedly died in the custody of kidnappers.

Recalls that Obaadofin was kidnapped on Easter Monday.
The monarch reportedly passed on last Thursday due to alleged torture.

Obadofin, a major cashew farmer was abducted on Easter Monday from his farm in Aghara area at about 11pm. The gunmen also shot dead one madam Toyin Onare, a widow, who was in the farm as a labourer.

Onare was rushed to hospital in Kabba, headquarter of the LGA, about 35 minutes drive away. Unfortunately, she was confirmed dead on arrival.
