EkoHotBlog reports that former Kaduna Central lawmaker, Senator Shehu Sani has condemned the attack on the Social Democratic Party (SDP) Governorship Campaign Secretariat in Kogi State.
Recall suspected hoodlums earlier attacked the facility located around Paparanda junction in Lokoja, the state capital, on Sunday morning.
The frontage which was made of glass was vandalized just as the banner of President Ahmed Bola Tinubu which was pasted on the wall of the Secretariat was pulled down and burnt to ashes in front of the office.
Speaking with newsmen on Sunday at the Campaign Secretariat, the running mate to SDP governorship candidate, Sam Abenemi described the attack as unfortunate and evil.
Reacting to the development in a tweet via his verified Twitter handle on Sunday evening, Sani asserted that the attack on the secretariat is unfortunate and condemnable.
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain said the forthcoming governorship election has turned Kogi state into a theatre of bloodshed, arson and lawlessness.
He wrote: “It’s unfortunate and condemnable to learn that the Kogi state SDP secretariat has been set ablaze. Kogi’s Governorship election has turned the state into a theatre of bloodshed, arson, and lawlessness.”
