The Peoples Democratic Party PDP Senatorial candidate In the Kogi West Senatorial district Senator Dino Melaye, has been defeated by the All Progressive Congress Candidate Adeyemi Smart.
Smart defeated the PDP candidate in the just concluded rerun election in Kogi West senatorial district.
It could be recalled that the Independent National Electoral Commission had declared the November 16 Kogi West Senatorial Election Inconclusive and ordered a rerun.
