President Muhammadu Buhari has re-nominated Ahmed Kuru as Managing Director and Eberechukwu Uneze as well as Aminu Ismail as Executive Directors of the Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON) for a final term of five years.
This was contained in a letter to the President of the Senate seeking confirmation of the nominees by the upper legislative chamber in accordance with Section 10(1) of the AMCON Act, 2010, Ekohotblog gathered.

SIMILARLY, he sought the confirmation of Bello Hassan as Managing Director and Mustapha Muhammad Ibrahim as Executive Director (Operations) of the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation.
Both are succeeding Umaru Ibrahim and Prince Aghatise Erediauwa whose second terms ended on December 8, 2020.
In the second correspondence, the President said the action was consistent with Sections 5(4) and 8(3) of the NDIC Act, 2010.
