Eko Hot Blog reports that Senator Rabi’u Kwankwaso has said the New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP, was opened to a merger as no party can singlehandedly clinch power in the country.

Kwankwaso, who was the NNPP presidential candidate in the 2023 general election, said these in an interview with some radio stations on Friday.
The former Kano Governor said noted that no party can singlehandedly win elections or clinch power in the country.

Therefore, he said, his doors were opened to whoever approached him or sought for merger to clinch power and deliver the dividends of democracy to Nigerians.
