EKO HOT BLOG reports that the 2023 presidential candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso, has visited the former Senate President, Ahmad Lawan, over the recent death of his mother, Hajiya Halima.
In a post via his X (formerly Twitter) handle on Thursday, Kwankwaso said he paid a condolence visit to the former Senate President at his Abuja residence, days after the burial of his mother.
He prayed for the Almighty Allah to grant the deceased Jannatul Firdaus, and urged Lawan and his family to find solace in the indelible memory her life has brought to them and her community.
He wrote: “Yesterday night, I paid a condolence visit to my brother, Sen. Ahmad Lawan, over the recent death of his mother, Hajiya Halima
“While praying for the Almighty Allah to grant the deceased Jannatul Firdaus, I urged Sen. Lawan and his family to find solace in the indelible memory her life has brought to them and her community.”
