Kwara commission monitors construction of ICT hub in Ilorin
Reiterates government commitment to Tech

The commissioner for enterprise in Kwara state, Hajia Arinola has paid a visit to the construction site of The Information Communication Technology (ICT) Innovation Hub, Ilorin being constructed by the state.

The state government in a bid to make Kwara state an ICT hub is investing in this project so as to provide job opportunities in the area of tech for her citizens and the commissioner reiterated Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq’s commitment to achieving this.

“Today, I paid an inspection visit to the ongoing construction of Information Communication Technology (ICT) Innovation Hub, Ilorin.

During the visit, I reiterated the goals of His Excellency, Governor Abdulrahman AbdulRazaq in transforming Kwara State from a Civil Servant State to an Industrialized State.

Also, I charged the contractors to expedite actions towards the completion of the project. I also stressed the need for effective interlink of the drainage system to avert future erosion related problems.

Earlier, the project contractor, Managing Director, Omron Constructions Mr Jamil Olatunji assured me and my team (the Director Finance and Supply; Hajia Habibat Salman Saidu, and other directors in the ministry) that our observations will be professionally implemented.

He further explained that the project is progressing within the projected period and will be delivered at the right time.”. Her statement reads.
