Kwara Govt Mourns As Missing Nasarawa University Student Found Dead In Ilorin
Eko Hot Blog reports that a student of the Nasarawa State University, Yusuf Mubarak, who was declared missing after being last seen on Wednesday, September 13, has been found dead.
Mubarak was said to have been last seen around the Federal Secretariat area, Federal Road, Ilorin, Kwara State around 9:40pm on Wednesday.

Since then, the 27-year-old undergraduate had not been reachable.
He was declared missing on Friday, and fliers were made in a bid to search for him.
He was, however, found dead on Saturday.
Meanwhile, Kwara state governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has described as shocking and saddening the death of Mubaarak under hazy circumstances
A statement signed by his chief press secretary, Rafiu Ajakaye, the governor called for a thorough investigation over the incident.

The Governor, himself a father, strongly condemns the cowardly violence meted to the lad and demands immediate and thorough investigation into the death of the promising chap to arrest and bring his assailants to justice.
“No resources should be spared to get justice for Mubaarak and his family. We charge the security agencies to cast their nets as widely as possible to answer all pending questions around his painful death,” the statement said.
