These new additions will join 18 returning players as part of the squad for the upcoming season.
Among the new signings are Ifeanyi Ogba, a former Rangers International forward; Oyeleso Suraj, an experienced NPFL goalkeeper from Plateau United; and Akani Akeem from Sporting Lagos.
Speaking at the unveiling ceremony, held at the Sugar Film Factory in Ilorin, Bashir Badawy, General Manager of Kwara United, represented the club chairman, Kumbi Titiloye, and highlighted the thorough recruitment process.
“We conducted extensive tours in Ikenne, Lagos, and Bayelsa to ensure we selected the right blend of players for the season. As you can see, we have a mix of young and experienced footballers,” said Badawy.
He also shared match data and statistics from the tours and invitational tournaments, emphasizing that Kwara United remains a formidable team.
“We rarely concede goals and have defeated top clubs, including Al Merikkh of Sudan, a continental giant. With time left in our training schedule, I can assure you that the team will be ready to perform at full capacity when the league starts,” he added.
