Eko Hot Blog reports that the Lagos State Government has announced the dates for the conduct of the 2023 Trade Tests for Artisans in the state.
The government made the announcement in a statement issued by the Director, Lagos State Examinations Board, Mr. Adebayo Orunsolu, on Tuesday.

According to the statement, the examination will be held on Tuesday, 19th and Thursday, 21st September, 2023 at four designated centres.
Orunsolu listed the designated centres as Vocational Training Centre, Agency for Mass Education, Agege; Lagos State Waterways Authority ( LASWA), Falomo Jetty; Technical College, Ikotun and Skills Acquisition Centre, Ikotun.
The Director urged all concerned candidates to take note of the dates for the Test as excuses would not be accepted from anyone after the examinations had been conducted.
Trade testing is a specific process of qualified assessment of the level of skills in various professions and specialties.
The issuance of the Trade Test Certificate in Nigeria occurs after an artisan proves they are skilled in their areas of specialization. Trade Test Certificate can be 1st, 2nd, and 3rd class.
You must pass a Trade Test at an accredited trade test centre in Nigeria to get the certificate.
