Lagos Assembly Visits Tinubu In London

  • Lagos Assembly has visited Tinubu in London.

EKOHOTBLOG reports that the members of Lagos State House of Assembly have visited the National Leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, in London, United Kingdom.

The lawmakers, EKOHOTBLOG gathered, were led by the Speaker of the Lagos Assembly, Mudashiru Obasa.

Speaking on behalf of the Assembly members, Obasa said the lawmakers had a lengthy discussion with Tinubu, adding that the former governor is hail and hearty.

The Speaker added that the visit was necessary considering the position of the former governor as “a leader in the country, a mentor and benefactor to many Nigerians”.

He further stated that Tinubu discussed with the lawmakers on issues of national importance.

“Asiwaju remains amazingly passionate about Nigeria. He is hale and hearty.

“We had a lengthy discussion about developments in the country; he was in high spirit, cheery, witty as usual and remains optimistic about the progress of the country,” Obasa said.

EKOHOTBLOG reports that among the Lagos Assembly members, who visited Tinubu, include the Chairman of the House Committee on Transportation, Hon. Temitope Adewale; Chairman of the House Committee on Physical Planning and Urban Development, Hon. Nureni Akinsanya; and the Chairman of the House Committee on Overseas Investments and SDG, Hon. Sylvester Ogunkelu.
