David Akinade, a first-time competitor, has made history by clinching gold in the Shot Put event with a remarkable throw of 7.74 meters.

This impressive feat is a testament to the Lagos State government’s commitment to nurturing talents and providing opportunities for athletes with disabilities to shine.

Oladeji, the star of the show, has already won two gold medals in the 100 and 200 meters events and is hungry for more.

He’s determined to surpass his previous records and make a name for himself in the athletics world.

In boxing, Lagos’s formidable pugilists – Agboola Oyindamola, Bello Olamide Lawal, Yakubu Sofiat, and Bolarinwa Michael – are gearing up for the finals in their respective weight categories.
