Lagos Bus Services Limited, LBSL, has hit a milestone in its mandate of transporting Lagosians across the metropolis with a recent disclosure by its Managing Director, Mr. Idowu Oguntona, that LBSL has successfully commuted 10 million passengers within the last 10 months.
Addressing newsmen on the development during a short ceremony at its Ojodu-Berger Station, the Managing Director said that the organisation is not resting on its oars to provision of effective, efficient and smooth transportation to residents of the State.
While commending residents of the State who have embraced pool ride with the company’s fleet instead of driving their personal vehicles, Oguntona appealed to other citizens to consider riding in the buses to decongest traffic on Lagos roads.

He acknowledged that the services rendered by the company had been instrumental to easing commuting bottlenecks across the State, saying that routes that require more attention have been identified.
Speaking against the backdrop of the COVID-19 in the State and the need for relevant organisations to embrace precautionary measures, Oguntona disclosed that the company is putting in place necessary parameters to minimise exposure to the virus in the buses.
