Lagos College Of Health Announces Timeline For Admission Process

Eko Hot Blog reports that the Lagos State College of Health Technology (LASCOHET) has announced the timeline for the admission process for the 2023/2024 Session.

According to a statement issued by the state government on Thursday, the college commenced the process of accepting applications from qualified and interested persons for admission to study Diploma and Certificate Courses in different health fields in April 2023.

The Acting Provost of LASCOHET, Mrs. Ayodele Rotimi, who spoke through the Registrar of the College, Mrs. Morenikeji Shobajo, stated that the sale of application forms will close by mid-June 2023, while the sales of Late Application Forms start from 19th June – 7th July, 2023.

Rotimi added that the ‘Pen-On-Paper’ Entrance Examination will be held at the College premises on 13th – 14th July, 2023, just as registration for the Computer Based Test (CBT) option is billed to hold between 3rd – 4th August, 2023.

LASCOHET’s admission process timeline

She further stated that applicants can also apply for the National Diploma Programmes through the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Examinations (JAMB) or Higher National Diploma Programmes through Direct Entry Examinations.

Revealing that the entrance examination questions will cover English, Mathematics, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, General Knowledge and Current Affairs, the LASCOHET acting provost listed the various Schools within the College as Environmental Health, Community Health, Complementary Health Sciences, Medical Laboratory, Health Information Management, Morbid Sciences, Pharmacy Technician and Biomedical Technology.
