The Lagos State Commissioner for Tourism, Arts and Culture, Pharmacist Uzamat Akinbile-Yussuf, and the Special Adviser in the Ministry, Mr. Solomon Bonu, have been awarded and recognized for a good rendering of self-services to the people of Lagos State and Nigeria as a nation.
While the commissioner was recognized for extraordinary service delivery under the Nigeria Silent Heroes Award, the special adviser was recognized by the northern youth council of Nigeria as the “Garkuwan Matasan Arewa Najeriya”

The commissioner expressed her gratitude to the organizer of the award for the recognition just as she said that the gesture will spur her to pursue what will be more beneficial to the masses.
She said, ” as we look forward COVID-19 Free 2021 the ministry will continue to pursue the attainment of sustainable tourism development true and enabling environment that is acceptable to both domestic and international tourist we will use the new year to focus more on the improvement of domestic tourism.
