Lagos Council Chairmen Have Constructed Over 2,000 Roads In Two Years – Chairman, Conference 57 CPS
Chairman of Conference 57 CPS, Oseni Owolabi Ajimomuya, has said that Council Chairmen in Lagos State have constructed over 2000 roads since inception of office.
He disclosed this recently at a Press Conference organised by the grassroots media aides in Lagos State.
He said the Executive Chairmen, popular referred to as Conference 57, have been receiving accolades from residents in Lagos State over their performances since they assumed office in July 2017.

CPS Ajimomuya who is also the image-maker for Hon. Abdul Hamed Salawu of Somolu Local Government, said the praises attributed to Council Chairmen are in reference to the timely report on administrative activities in LGAs’ and LCDAs’ from their respective CPS who are constantly updating communities about activities of the Council Chairmen.
While addressing the press last weekend, the Chairman of Conference 57 CPS, Oseni Owolabi Ajimomuya, added that the 57 Council Chairmen have delivered an average of 10 roads each in their respective councils.
He also said that other sectors are not left behind on the scale of grassroots development.
According to him, Executive Chairmen have brought dividends of democracy to the grassroots in the area of healthcare service delivery, infrastructure, socio-welfare, agriculture (for those in rural areas), education support programmes, empowerment, environment, sports and entertainment.
Ajimomuya, who addressed the press in preparation for the annual media retreat of Conference 57 CPS holding at Lagos Palm Beach Resort, Ibeju- Lekki, said Council Chairmen have been performing tremendously well in order to meet demands of electorate in the grassroots.
“Council Chairmen are constantly meeting the growing demands of electorate in the grassroots,” he said.
