Lagos state COVID-19 toll, the epicenter of the pandemic in Nigeria, has now hit 15043, this is as the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control on Thursday disclosed that the country has recorded four hundred eight one new cases.
The agency made the disclosure in its daily situation report of COVID-19 on its official twitter page.
According to the agency, of the 481 new cases, 96 are confirmed in Abuja, 89 in Lagos, Plateau-68, Ogun-49, Edo-44, Rivers-43, Oyo-25, Osun-23, Delta-15, Enugu-11, Kano-7, Kaduna-7, Bauchi-2, Bayelsa-1, Yobe-1.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria to 42,689, with 19,270 discharged and 878 deaths recorded.
