Lagos DSVA, Onigbongbo LCDA Host Anti-SGBV Fitness Walk
Lagos State Domestic and Sexual Violence Agency (DSVA) teamed up with Onigbongbo LCDA to organize a Healthy Living Fitness Walk.
The event aimed to educate the public on Sexual and Gender-Based Violence (SGBV) and promote a healthy lifestyle.
According to Mrs. Titilola Vivour-Adeniyi, Executive Secretary of DSVA, “SGBV perpetrators are committing crimes that should not be hidden.
It’s time to break the culture of silence and ensure perpetrators face the consequences of their actions, while survivors get justice.”
Hon. Olakunle Oladotun, Chairman of Onigbongbo LCDA, emphasized the importance of reporting SGBV cases, stating that the State Government has declared a Zero tolerance stance on all sexual and gender-based cases in Lagos.

During the walk, participants engaged with commuters and residents, distributing SGBV materials such as leaflets, posters, and contact information for local support services.
This initiative aimed to inform and empower the community to address and seek help for SGBV issues.
