Lagos Education Commissioner Lauds Hon. Raji For Education Intervention Projects

The Lagos State Commissioner of Education, Mrs. Folashade Adefisayo has hailed Hon. Wale Raji, member representing Epe Federal Constituency at the Federal House of Representatives for his initiative in overseeing some education intervention projects in his constituency.

As gathered by EKO HOT BLOG, the Commissioner was speaking during a tour of the projects in Epe on Friday, February 12, 2021.

The intervention projects, which included new classroom blocks in some of the public schools is in line with Hon. Raji’s commitment towards changing the face of education and empowering his constituents by providing an enabling environment for qualitative education.

While addressing the honourable commissioner during the tour, Hon. Raji had noted that other projects are already underway, most of which are reflected in his 2021 budget which is geared towards touching lives and empowering the good people of Epe.

Reacting, the honourable Commissioner of Education, Mrs. Folashade Adefisayo thanked Hon. Raji for his unyielding commitment towards improving the quality of education across Epe Federal Constituency. She emphasized the place of education in ensuring an auspicious future for the teeming Nigerian youths who are already on course to levelling up with their counterparts in other parts of the globe.

Adefisayo spoke extensively on the need to educate the younger generation in a bid to raise the next generation of competent minds who would ensure the place of Lagos State as Africa’s nerve centre for commerce and industry.

“We have been doing a lot of rehabilitation of schools, supplying furniture, providing access to the internet, distributing learning mobile devices and, most importantly, ensuring we recruit more teachers and train them for best practices as we owe these kids responsibility of preparing them for the future”, she said.

The education intervention projects is only the latest of Hon. Raji’s long list of projects as member representing Epe Federal Constituency, which has all been tailored towards changing lives through people-oriented projects.
