Eko Hot Blog reports that the Lagos State Commissioner for Environment and Water Resources, Mr. Tokunbo Wahab, has congratulated Engr. Mahmood Adegbite on his appointment as Permanent Secretary of the Office of Drainage Service by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
In a Facebook post, Wahab expressed confidence that, with Adegbite’s experience, they can realize the potential for cooperation in making Lagos’s environment “cleaner, healthier, and safer” in line with the governor’s THEMES+ Agenda.
Wahab stated in the social media post: “I look forward to continued, close, and good cooperation in making the Environment cleaner, healthier, and safer in line with Mr. Governor’s THEMES+ Agenda.”
The commissioner added: “May the Almighty Allah grant you wisdom, compassion, and truth, accompany you in your new role, and guide your work.”
Wahab concluded the Facebook message by telling the new appointee: “Rest not, the new journey to a #CleanerLagos and #GreenerLagos begins!”
The public’s congratulations come as Adegbite takes on his new role overseeing drainage infrastructure for the Lagos Ministry of Environment and Water Resources.
